Corporate Writing Style Guide

I'm a copywriter for a big company and we don't have a formal writing style guide. Presently, all we have is a word list/lexicon and a few grammar tips in an excel spreadsheet. I'm looking for examples and advice on formatting/software to use to develop our guide (Word? Another program?). Thanks.

    Word and then export to Adobe PDF.
    If you are feeling really fancy get Adobe In Design and Export Finished product as a PDF.
