Need Help To Market Program For Corporate Events

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points

the art of creative visualization helps us to achieve our professional and personal goals. we can learn this art by reading books or attending one or two day seminars. i have condensed and summarized everything we need to know about this art in a one hour ,interactive and very funny show in which the actors teach the audience how to practice this art successfully.
i believe this new and inovative show can be a popular program for corporate events. but i have no idea how i can reach this market . i need a partner or a freelance marketer who can help me to market this show to corporations. i also welcome any suggestion which could help me to know this market.

Consider creating some video snippets of your performance and posting on YouTube, etc.

If you don't yet have a website for the show, create one (and have video and testimonials)

Network with your local Chamber of Commerce, corporate event planners, and even popular business venues.

If you can create a mini-show, offer these (possibly free) performances to local business associations for upcoming meetings.

I would like to chat with you as well. What you have fits well into some of what we do.

There is a book called Meeting Planners Guide created by salesman's guide. Look it up on the web. You can buy the list of meeting planners and then email or contact them.

I would also look around for event producers and get the information into their hands.

Don't be surprised if this is a little tough right now. The economic softening (recession) has caused a slow down in the event business. But keep trying

I think you should advertise in trade publications such as business week. Or, advertise in smaller trade publications in your local area. You may also want to hire a sales person to do some cold calling and cold canvassing. For instance, you could have a sales person stop by local businesses in your area and drop off brochures and other promotional materials.

Do you have any client testimonials to give to potential new clients. If you do not, I would reccomend giving your show to a couple of well known companies. This might get things kick started so that others will hear about your show. You need to start somewhere, and that might even entail giving it away a couple of times. If you do give it away, pick a couple of local companies so that you can keep your expenses down.
