Am I On The Right Track?

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
Hi every one, I'm new to all this and napman.co.uk is my first venture through which I am learning everything involved in launching a web-site.

I would like any comments on my home page, visuals and copywriting.

Thanks,

Mark.

My key question is: Why should I pay you for a tip -- who are you, and why are your tips worth the money?

What is it that you want people to do when they come to your site? You want them to key in their phone number. So why is the input box shoved down right at the bottom of the front page. Put the input box higher up, make it bigger and make it more obvious.

Also, on the other pages of your site, there is nothing said about the tips service that is going to make you the money. A small input box for the phone times and an advert telling about the service must be on every single page. Don't assume that people land only on your home page. In fact, people often visit some other part of the site first. You have to ensure that wherever they arrive in your site, they are confronted with the phone input box so that you get the most sign ups you can.
