Copyrighting

I have been a few out of copyrighting and publishinghas blogging and the Internet totally destroyed the value of copyighting.

As a publisher in economic reports and timely data I enjoyed a high rate of exclusivity and non reproduction value. However today I see most people forgoing this step.

When using new media what is the new level of protection or lack their of for reports marketing or design work openly published.

In my opinion the internet makes everything transparent and a commodity. The real value is in the knowledge behind the content. Copying content is easy. But doing it a second time is the hard part. That's where I see the value.

Thank you this confirms what I was thinking. The web appears to reinforce and also provider greater dissemination, even though it can be associated elsewhere.
