Customer Gifts

Posted by lauren on 25 Points
We have several 'high-end' clients who bring a lot of money into our company. The company I work for has never had a marketing strategy, nor have they had a customer satisfaction person (these are now my new projects). I feel it is important that my company does something nice for these clients. What are some "gift" ideas that we can use to show them that they are appreciated? Something around $75.

Do clients appreciate gift baskets? Something that the entire office can enjoy - not just the person signing the checks - or should it be specifically for our business contact?

Any feedback or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :)
Lauren

It really depends-- does the staff support you?

You may want to give the head guy one gift, and a cookie basket to the staff to enjoy.

My fave high end gift is a Tiffany Pen. Its a big higher ($100) than your budget but its big on "wow" factor. My gift card reads "thanks for helping us write a big year", or something like that.

Another fave is logo'd old fashioned "gum ball" dispensers. Their logo. Add more with log'd M&M's in the machine. Again, their logo. I can usually get the art off their website. That is a gift that everyone can see and enjoy. They usually end up in the lobby or the CEO's office suite.

    Lauren,
You really have to check the industry. Some disallow any gifts. I've had companies refuse to allow me to pay for coffee....though they will meet me for coffee.

www.onlythebestgifts.com is a good place to start.

Don't assume everyone likes chocolate or likes golf. Things that senior people can give to their admins are a good idea too.

    Michael
