I suspect you mean "copyright" not "copywriting," right?

You can put the copyright symbol and notification on all copies of the song, but understand that all the copyright does is help you pursue damages in the event someone actually harms you by using your songs and other material without permission.

Enforcing a copyright is an expensive process and often not worth the expense, especially if the alleged damage is hard to prove and quantify. You put a lot of time/effort and money into asserting your rights, and in the end don't recover nearly enough to make the process worth it.

Go ahead and claim the copyright, but don't think it's really protecting you in any significant way ... unless you plan to really enforce the copyright.

Note: I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice.

Michael is right, it's mostly about litigation and the deepest wallet.

You can place a trademark (TM) symbol after the song title, and have it appear in public forums. You can also apply for a trademark at this site:
    https://www.uspto.gov/

You can apply for a copyright at this site:
    https://www.copyright.gov/forms/

Your best defense is success in the marketplace.

    hope this helps,

    Steve
