Paperclip a dollar bill onto your letter. The letter will read like this:

"attached find my donation to the XYZ charilty. Please add your contribution to mine, and seal it in the enclosed self addressed and stamped envelope.

XYZ charity is counting on my support (and yours) to accomplish XXXXXXXXX this year. Every dollar counts. I've done my part, will you please do yours?"

Okay, its bold, and its brash. You might find that a lot of folks will add a buck or more to your dollar, and send in their contribution. Try it on a limited test of say 100 letters. See how it works. You might find it out pulls any other letter you write.
