I have a vision of how I want it to go but no steps on how to do it. Haven`t seen it marketed. did a google search also. HELP PLEASE

Don't get confused between copyright and trade maeks.

Andy is right. You need to register your trade mark.

    This has 2 elemenmts.

The name AND the logo design.

In your case, you may have an issue with the name.

YOu can't for instance trademark the name JANE because it is so common - but, if you can create a distinctive logo with the word JANE worked into it in a manner that is unique, then your trade mark may be allowed.

Best thing is to research first all the similar trade marks already registered. You will possibly be shocked to see that iot is already taken.

Another issue to remember is that trade mark protection applies only to 1 country. if you register in the US fine but if you want to sell in UK, then you have to register again there.

It is not mandatory to be trademarked, but depending on how big you expect your business to grow, it may be wsier in the long run otherwsie someone can grab it and register it themsleves if you have not yet done so.

    Good luck,

    Matthew

What you need to copyright is your name and logo. The whole corporate identity.

Visit your country's official copyright/trademark body or have an attorney do it for you.
