I and a couple of my co-workers have been assigned to launch a anniversary national campaign to celebrate the relationship between an Asian car manufacture and a Middle Eastern company (which I shell keep nameless due to competitive reasons). The anniversary will be a one day event and a corporate campaign will be developed to introduce such an event.
Our tasks are to organize the one day event from A to Z and to launch a TV commercial to introduce the anniversary event.
I’ve read about the 50th anniversary of Corvette (Chevrolet car maker) which was held in Nashville to get some ideas/insight on developing our own event.
I now need your help on how to tackle the above subject. We basically have a year to organize the event to celebrate the relationship between both parties (mentioned above)
I thought about getting hold of the chief organizer of the 50th anniversary of Corvette for some advice, but unfortunately we can’t because Chevrolet is one of our competitors.
Thus, if you have been involved in organizing a similar (50th anniversary of Corvette) event, please pass of some advice. I need to know where and how to begin organizing for such a large event. What websites do you know which might be of help
Thank-you in advanced
