Video Usage Licensing

I'm not quite sure if anyone is going to be able to help me with this, but here goes. I was given the task of finding out what my company has to do to get permission to burn an existing classic movie onto a dvd. The dvd will be given away as a promotion to our client's key customers.

I need to know who to talk to and how to go about doing it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    You have to contact the owner of the copyright in order to either get permission or licensing costs.

    If the movie already exists on DVD, you are likely to be denied and referred to a wholesale distributor for bulk purchase.
