Know-How Exchange : Copywriting

Can you tell us (a) who your target audience is and what you know about them, and (b) what you're trying to communicate to them?

We can probably help you, but not without knowing what the objective is and how you plan to achieve it (i.e., your strategy). Let's start with your intended positioning. What is it you want your target audience to know/understand?

I'm having a problem figuring out how you expect people to find your website. What search terms might they enter that would make your site a logical place for them to end up? Or are you advertising to a select group who have indicated that they are interested in buying eco-friendly products?

I guess I never thought about eco-friendly as being the primary search need. I'd have expected the specific product [functional] benefit to be primary, and eco-friendly to be secondary. What you're doing seems akin to a store for just orange things, or just things with the letter N in their names, etc.

Thank You so much for all of your comments! Solar Bound Earth is an online superstore full of eco friendly products such as solar panels to rechargeable batteries, and window film. What I would like is some help on an opening line that would catch their attention.

You could start by asking, "How much you do spend annually on AA batteries?" or "Are you interested in finding out how to lower your energy bill and do it environmentally-friendly?"
