Company Party To Launch Rebrand

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi Folks,

I have been tasked with organising a company party which must take place during working hours. This is to mark the fact that we are changing our name.

I am looking for some ideas for things we could organise during the day. So far we have come up with cake and a lunch!

Any novel ideas would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks,

PG

What's the goal of the party? Is the name change tied to a new (marketing) message? Is the name change tied to a new business direction? Rather than suggest some random activities, focus on what you want each person to leave the party knowing or doing differently - then craft the "event" to reinforce those points (in a fun way).

A Name change marks a new beginning. You should make it a "Birthday Party", as it would be the birth of the new company image.

Easy to do with streamers, balloons, and party hats. Maybe even have the new company name made up in a large sign/display that is later revealed. Something like a BIG present with a huge red bow on top that is opened to reveal your sign/display....after the cake is cut ofcourse. =)

You could always do, Pin the Tail on the Donkey? ....either way, you need to make it fun in-order to get people excited about a new name. Some people don't like change.

(there's an idea- you could give everybody some change. THEME "Change is Good") =)
