Building Up Clientele

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am A new Stylist, and I want to mail out postcards letting everyone that I know that I am now taking clients. I would also like to offer a discount on a service for responding to the post card.
I need help with format and wording.

I think that many of us would love to help you, Marci, but it's something for which we're paid. Please contact me if I can assist.

    Marci,
Are you working for a salon or starting your own business? If a salon, you can word your promotion to announce your new location at X salon. If starting your own business, you can introduce them to your new salon. These are openers...

Encourage through your wording for people to contact you soon as the holidays tend to be a busy time...

If you have any client contacts that can attest to your work, include 1 or 2.

If you are specializing in a certain aspect of a stylist...cuts, color, perms, hair replacement, extensions...include that information.

Some have had success by providing an immediate offer to the addresse with a subsequent offer if they refer someone to you.

Take a look at what some of the other salons and stylists in your area do to market themselves and improve upon it.
