What Is Copywriting Vs Content Writing For Website

I need to know the advantages of copywriting for a website and how it differs from content writing for a website?

    Copywriting falls into two basic categories:

    1. Content copy. This is the material written by people who know the subject your website covers, i.e. what the carribean resort is like, annual temperature graphs, local events and interests, the accomodation etc. This is journalistic copy and you pay journalist rates for it

    2. Sales copy: this is the kind of copy that makes a sale, or gets visitors to register. It is a salesperson in print and difficult to write unless you fully understand both sales and creative writing. It is therefore more expensive, but brings in revenue, so is the foundation of the site.
