Need A Good Email Subject Line To Market A Webinar

Posted by rainbirdfan on 250 Points
I'm trying to create an amazing email subject line for my newsletter inviting readers to sign-up for an upcoming Webinar.

The Webinar subject is on pipe supports (specifically variable and constant load spring supports). My target audience is beginners, new engineers, buyers, purchasers, and expediters.

This is the first presentation in a series that explains pipe supports in the simplest possible way. Starting with spring supports, they will learn what a constant load spring and a variable load spring support are and learn how they differ.

Springs into action with our pipe support webinar!

Springs in action - see our pipe support webinar!

You could add something about what makes your webinar worth watching. I am not sure if knowing the difference between constant and variable support systems is enough to encourage sign-ups.

Look a little deeper - what are the differences in application? Most Engineers look to problem solving not just more information. In any case, it is the problem solving that is usually the more interesting from the point of view of a webinar.

"Webinar - variable load spring support for pipes"

or better yet would be ... free "Webinar" plus date, then follow with the primary benefit of attending the webinar.

Also, what kind of pipes? Who's the audience?

From the attendee's perspective, what's in it for them? How is this time a worthwhile investment of their time? How can you prove it? The best way to craft a subject line (or any phrase) is from the (unique & valuable) benefit you're providing them.

Also - why would webinar instead of an article or a video?

Wow I'm loving this site already! great advice--I really like "Spring into action" maybe even adding after that, "and attend our Intro. to springs Webinar on Jan. 17th"

And you're right, the difference b/w a variable and constant isn't that interesting... this Webinar is for entry-level engineers or non-engineers, but even then it would be more interesting to talk about the differences in the applications.

I also like "Everything you ever wanted to know about pipe supports: part 1" but will be more suited for a more comprehensive Webinar.

See we do a ton of these to educate many different audiences about pipe supports (our product). Not just engineers, but mainly engineers watch them. We've done highly technical Webinars for years now and realized we didn't have anything for the new engineer or non-engineer, so that's why we are providing this Webinar.

Thank you everyone for the wonderful advice to help my creativity block ;)
