Copy For Eblasts Containing Infographics

What kind of copy do you use to send out eblasts that include infographics within the body of the email? Do you use the same kind of copy as you typically use when you offer white paper downloads?

    To my mind it depends on what your readers like - and you should have an idea of that from your interaction with them on your landing pages or where they sign up. I don't use formulas myself, each situation is unique - the aim is to either keep readers interested, or get them to unsubscribe (which can be a powerful tool, by the way!).

    Whatever you use, keep the expectation consistent. If they click, they should get what you're "advertising".

    It depends on a number of factors ... like who your target audience is, what subject you're discussing, what expectations you've set for the target audience, the interest level of your audience in the subject matter, etc. There's no one-size-fits-all answer to your question.
