Critique My Ad, Please

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
If anyone is willing to critique the ad concept discussed in this question : https://www.marketingprofs.com/ea/qst_question.asp?qstID=4228 it is here: [inactive link removed]
This is only a mock-up. The actual ad would have contact information.
Is the general layout good?
Is the text logical?Compelling?
Does the ad create interest that is likely to translate into viable leads?
Should the framing go, leaving just the glass?
Should it be one HUGE picture with text, or keep the two designs to visually emphasise that there are multiple designs?
What should be fixed / changed / eliminated?

I'd change the graphic elements to emphasize a BEFORE and AFTER image of one or more windows.

The tagline of your company says enough -- it's an OVERLAY. So I'd get rid of the rest of the verbage and make the contact info blaze into the viewers' minds.

    hi savialeigh,

There are too many words on the ad!!! Keep the tagline and put what else is written on the ad into a Voice over.

other than that it looks like a good idea.

    hello,

my advice to you is to read this post from a while back

    https://www.marketingprofs.com/ea/qst_question.asp?qstID=916#6278

especially where it talks about the consumer eye scanning an ad in Z formation. The center of an ad is the worst area for copy. Put your logo and tagline at the bottom right if it's in print or at the top left or top right if it's online.
