Marketing Life Saver Software

Dear Sir,

Software Developed : "Save My Life"

Platform : Android

Objective : Save life of people during accidents.

Problem :
This software used once a while. I would like to make it paid [approx 1 USD].
Q1 : how to make its marketing?
Q2 : I am having one Multi-player game. if i will attach game to this application, will it make any benefit to me?
Q3 : If no, then how actually do i market this app, so i would generate maximum revenue?

Please help me.

    Can you describe the details of your software, including: why you developed it, why people might download it, and stories of how it's been used to great benefit?

    As for adding a game to the software, it's likely not to enhance the meaning of your existing software, but if it's a great game, people may choose to download the app for the benefit of the game, and perhaps be interested in your app itself. There are many stories of software being released for one intended purpose, but having users be interested in a totally unintended benefit, and having that other benefit cause the company to "pivot" and rethink its strategy. But the game/app needs to do something really well. So you need to test it. And if people aren't downloading it already, you need to incentivize them to do so.

    This is my first try to launch this kind of software.truely speaking i havent yet survey market.

    This software autometically send sos message with current location.this is basic usage.

    With this i am providing risk mode where above mentioned thing execute periodically.

    Actually i am new bee,in field of marketing the software.

    Please suggest the way to successfully launch product.

    Dear sir,
    Difference between 911 and my app is as follows:
    I am providing following functions :

    1.normal mode : after starting project it will auto send recent top 5 call history.then fetch location using gps and sms/email location with google map link to already configured guardian

    2. risk mode: normal mode auto fire periodically.which helps if you are passing through risky zone.

    3. Call to parents: one by one fire call to guardian.which helps to listen guardian,,what is going around child.

    4. My location : one can find out where actually he or she is. And sms currunt location to person from own contact list.

    i am planning to put this app on google play - android market.

    On Q2 ("I am having one Multi-player game. if i will attach game to this application, will it make any benefit to me?") - the only benefit you may get from attaching this to another software you currently have would be that it would allow users of the other software (the game) to know of this software. if they find that the first software was good quality, then they may believe that the new software is also good quality.

    But, are the users of the game also people who would use the emergency software? It sounds like the new software is meant for kids to have on their phones, but you would actually need to sell it to the parent or guardian. Is the parent or guardian the one using the game? I suspect not, so there may not be a lot of connection between the two.

    But, I believe the Android market does show other programs by the same author. Assuming there is no cost to listing it, it doesn't sound like it would hurt (even if it doesn't help a lot) to have the new emergency software listed as by the same author as the game.

    Oh, on how to market it - you have to get the new software listed on the Android market. If you can not do that, the software is dead. Make sure you can get that.

    Yes i am going to put it on android market.

    My question is how to sell and do marketing of it.

    I think there is a point that the user of emergency software and game are completely different.

    So i think there is no point to put game and app in one package.

    So what are the steps that i should take so maximum people attract to download it?

    Contact bloggers who cover Android apps and get them to review your app. This will give it good exposure beyond just being on the Play store. You can find these websites by Googling terms such as "android apps" or "android app reviews". You'll need to present a compelling value for the software, though. Not just a list of features. Come up with stories about how the software would be used and choose the one that is most compelling.

    Sir,please note that i am engineer not an management guy.so my expectation is to understand user's perspective from the eye of marketing guy.
