Mission Impossible:take On The Music Industry

The music industry is a cartel of 5 major record labels who basically control the distribution and marketing of music to the mass market.Your mission,if you choose to acccept it,is to take on the record industry by inventing a new business model and marketing strategy to help your record label,American Records,Inc compete with the 5 major labels.

What business model would you innovate?

What market,product,pricing,promotion and distribution strategies would you use?
