Hi, please tell me what you think of my site www.fierce-life.com I sell women hair extensions. I get some traffic. I get about 20 to 50 hits a day or so. Someone said to me, it's not professional because it's a template?

Also, I have been in business since march of 2013. No sales on it whatsoever. I have gotten sales from word of mouth or social media. Those sales were local, so when I deliver hair, it's paid in cash. PLEASE HELP. I NEED SERIOUS HELP. I AM SO STRESSED OUT ABOUT THIS. THANKS.

    1. How do people find your site? Are you advertising it or promoting it in some way? If not, that is the main reason for low traffic. The internet does not somehow magically direct the world to your website.

    2. Unfortunately the person who told you the site is unprofessional is right, but not because it is based on a template. You need professional copy that communicates a clear benefit for your primary target audience. It is as much a positioning issue as it is graphics or words. You owe it to yourself to get professional help.

    3. The copy on the site is loaded with words about you and your product, but short on the core BENEFIT that would motivate someone in your target audience to buy. (Is this the kind of product that people will want to see/feel in person before buying? How do you overcome that?)

This may be difficult to accept, but it sounds like you are ready to hear serious comments and take them to heart. I wish you the best.

P.S. What does fierce-life have to do with hair extensions? How do people figure out what it is you are selling? Do you expect them to read a paragraph to see if they want more information?

There is nothing above the fold on your main page that tells prospective buyers, clearly and concisely, what you do and who you do it for. This point alone is killing your sales potential. There is a HUGE amount of wasted space on your home page that tells buyers nothing. In order to sell, you need to tell.

The site needs works because it's not producing sales (or leads) for you. What's wrong with it? I'd start by asking your local customers what they think about the website. What resonates for them? What doesn't? Are you using the same phrasing/messaging/images when selling locally? Without knowing more about your clientele and their needs, I'm afraid we'll all simply be guessing on how to effectively improve your site.
