Advice On Finding Great Creative Resources

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am a B2B marketing consultant - a sole practitioner who acts as a full-service marketing agency by reaching out to local experts when needed (graphic design, SEO, web development, etc). My expertise is strategy, planning, writing, program implementation. One area of weakness for me is creative assignments (developing an ad, tagline, etc). Projects that call for creative brainstorming and development. All ad agencies would have this capability, but they are not so interested in being a sub-contractor to me. It's not their model. And I have not had great luck with freelance copywriters, art directors. Are there businesses or small creative firms out there who specialize in being the "intel inside" for sole practitioners like myself? People who need access to great creative capabilities, but on a spot basis?

    Heeey Jim,

definitely but a great deal of these services can be pretty expensive depending on who you go to and it does require some research to find some of them. Unless you are tied to some Social media sites online where your relationships can offer you the opportunity to ask your online friends to introduce you to those key people. That's actually the way I see it done quite a bit. But again...I would have to believe that these kinds of services can be found in many places even in your community…but given the fact that you have expressed that you have not had great luck with freelance copywriters and art directors leads me to believe that these experiences have created some resistance. And of course when we are not satisfied with the work of others it naturally reduces our trust and increases our skepticism. Again here across the US there are people who handle different aspects of these kinds of things for their clients. You could also do a search on GOOGLE and take a little time to identify if they are the kind of person that would work for you.

How else May I SERVE You Jim?

    Your Servant,

Lovingly Deremiah *CPE, (Customer Passion Expert)
