Need Powerful Behavior Change Terminology

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi! I write web copy for the same industry over and over again and need to get my creative juices flowing. My clients are pet behavior and training professionals, all over the world. I don't want their copy to sound the same, but I also want their websites to convey emotion and the powerful life-changing results a good dog trainer provides. Here are some of the terms I've used:

-Lead you out of turmoil into tranquility
-Restore harmony to your home
-Break barriers hindering better dog behavior
-Simple tips to reduce stress
-Usher you through a positive plan to improve your cat's behavior
-Allow me to ease the burden caused by...
-Life changing results await
-Clear up your cat concerns
-Resolve your pet's troublesome behaviors
-It's my mission to make your life better with the power of positive training
-Revel in your pet's remarkable change

Thank you! Just need some fresh eyes so I can help my clients stand out.

Hi, it looks like the rest of my message was cut off. I'd love some variations, different ways to powerfully "I'll fix the problems you're having with your dog." Thank you!

I'm a B2B marketer without a dog, so I'm not going to attempt to write phrases for you. I can say, having written a lot of blog posts for people I got to know during a half-hour interview, that everyone and every company has a writing "voice." It sounds like your clients are mostly small businesses and sole proprietors. It should be straightforward to explore that voice with them in conversation , then develop a sort of abbreviated style guide for each client so you can stick to that voice in your writing. Then if you close your eyes and channel that voice, hopefully the right emotional phrases will pop into your head as though your client said them.

Are these titles of blog posts? Do you sometimes use these as titles? If this were my project, I would look up significant words in my favorite thesauruce, https://www.powerthesaurus.org/ .

If you're using these as titles, I would suggest using numbers, e.g. 10 ways to do this or that. Describe your target audience in your title, e.g. cat owners…

Better yet, set up something like Google Chrome so that you can print to PDF files. Do a number of Google searches regarding how to create titles and headlines. As you find relevant articles, do not read them yet, save them as PDF files. After you have 75 or more in a subdirectory somewhere, make a copy of the files in a second directory for unread files. Sort those files by size, smallest to largest, which will help eliminate duplicates and make progress quickly. Read those files, making notes about important points.

    Good luck.
