How To Sell 1700 Bottles Of Wheatgrass Online.

Posted by np71774 on 250 Points
Hi guys. I have an online Wheatgrass store and 1700 bottles of this great superfood in my storage room. It expires in 2022 and I have to get rid of it as far as possible. I sell 10-15 bottles per months ( loyal customers ). Any ideas on how to sell much more? I tried Facebook ads targeting, email marketing, Google Adwords but results are poor. Any suggestions ?

You could sell it to your 'loyal customers' for 50% off, or some other compelling offer. It will last until 2022, so customers can store it, give to friends etc.

Of course, their orders will slow down for a while. The real question is what strategy can you employ to sell more to new customers.

What about Facebook ads? Any ideas on how to market Wheatgrass there? Which creatives and strategy to use?

    What about Facebook ads?

    Things to consider:

Target audience: vegetarians, health food customers, chefs, stores. FB has many target options.
Headline/short copy: Good offer - discount, buy one get one free, free shipping etc plus emphasis fresh and all natural.
Photography: Use a professional food photographer. The image is critical.

Can you sell it at farmers markets around your region?
    A discount to wholesalers?
Sell product to researchers (for example, https://hippocratesinst.org/clinical-research-studies)?
Sell product to a wheatgrass festival (for example, https://hippocratesinst.org/raw-love-fest)?

An issue here is the thinking of "It expires in 2022 and I have to get rid of it as far as possible."

    So, there's that ...

Buy two, get one free. Buy six, get two free.
