    In short: It's way too busy.

    If you change ONLY one thing, get rid of the animation.

    first of all : You fixed the height and width attributes. GOOD WORK

    now you need ALT text on the images. This will help SEO and will help people decide quicker if they want to wait for the page to load.

    Also you should "Interlace" the PNG's (or GIF's) and "Progressive" JPEG's.

    You don't need the animation.

    Also make the margin's on each side equal, the left hand sides needs to be the same as the right hand side.

    The site did take about 20 seconds to load over dial up, which is to long. About 5 to 10 is best (if i remember correctly).
