Crative Business Card Ideas For A Car Salesman

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I just completed University and have taken a position as a car salesman for a local honda dealership. Most of my coworkers have been there over ten years so I must compete against referalls and fellow dealership competition. I was trying to figure out a way to move ahead of the rest with a creative business card. Would anyone have any suggestions to fit this problem,
thank you for your help,
Bryan

As long as you can guarantee that your customers won't be "stolen" when you're out, you're in a good dealership.

Now, more than creative is effective. If you offer you card and a prospect says "cool!" but doesn't call, its coolness is worthless.

With a company like Honda, you already have quality behind you. Instead you can go with a tent card (fold-over) and make the card instructional. Example:

THE 5 THINGS TO CHECK BEFORE YOU BUY ANY CAR
    How was it used
    Ownership...how many
Needs...how are you going to use it
Dollars....how does it fit in your budget\
    Attitude of the salesperson

You can massage these things, but possibly keep them so they still spell HONDA.

Elaborate on each of these in the card and you'll find that people will keep the card.

    Hope this helps

    1. try a round business card, displaying a wheel, and reading "this is the spare; the other four awaiting" or similar

    2. try a round businesscard displaying a steering wheel, reading "picture yourself behind this and the power of a toyota behind you" :-)

I want you to have a car YOU will drive, not the car that will drive you...
