What grade do marketers give their organization's social media efforts? What are their biggest social media challenges? What do they think are the key drivers of social media success?

To find out, researchers at PhotoShelter conducted a survey of 397 marketers in EMEA and North America.

Some 22% of respondents give their organization's social media efforts an "A" grade, 59% a "B" grade, 16% a "C" grade", and 3% a "D" grade.

Marketers say the top challenges their organization faces with social media are team bandwidth (46% cite it as a top challenge), engagement (37%), and content creation (36%).

Marketers say consistency is the biggest driver of success for social media marketing.
