    Tips on E-marketing

    1.Have a niche that you are passionate about. Of course a niche for your product or service.

    2. Build a site that will have great keyword focussed content. The search engines and your visitors will like this.

    3.Generate this traffic through Search engine optmization and marketing, newsletters, linking etc. You would have achieved Search Engine Optimization by doing step two well.

    4.Presell the traffic. Solve their problems, prove your expertise on your speciality i.e get your traffic trust you and count on you or your products meet their need since you are an expert.

    Well, you can drop me an email we can be more focussed on your requirements for e-marketing.

    Hi Cath,

    Go to www.amazon.com or www.half. com and order used copies (cheap) of Robert Bly's books, especially these:

    * The Copywriter's Handbook
    * Complete Idiot's Guide to Direct Marketing

    For e-marketing, go to www.clickz.com, this is a treasure trove of information.

    I hope that helps!

    In my experience, the letters with the best response rates have a few common items:

    - They are short and direct
    - They offer something free to qualified customers (that something doesn't have to be product or service, it could be a discount, an answer to a trivia question, an extended warranty, discounts on future work or orders - get creative)
    - They have a a time limit for response (sense of urgency)
    - responding is easy
