If you could provide a few more details it would be helpful, I will tell you I end all of mine with:

The biggest key is the call-to-action, but it must be something measurable. So, give them a special landing page on your website or a special offer that has to be redeemed very quickly...but remember to kill the offer soon after the letter.

Some would disagree with me but I contend that a follow-up call that references the fact that the person DIDN'T take advantage of the offer is very effective in determining future promos.

You might even hire someone outside to call and ask if why they didn't take advantage of the offer.

Could you please hold the letter up to the screen so I can read your letter better? :-)

Three things you must have in a sales letter.

One - thank the potential customer for their interest.
Two - you MUST ask for the order.
Three - you should have a PS to re-affirm your strongest point or benefit of your product or service.

Hope this helps you. And seriously, please give us more details so we can provide a more detailed answer.

    Hi!

I agree with all my marketing colleagues above -- followup is very important.

When drafting sales letters for clients, I include some key points:

    a thank you

summary of benefits that clients' products/services offer the targets

prompt readers to contact my clients (so targets might do it sooner than later, or not at all) and

add an "alert" that you'll followup with readers (for their reply or so you can supply more info to those potential customers).

    Hope this helps.

    Good luck.

Jeeva - here is the ending for a sales letter I wrote for a client selling subscriptions. But all the elements can be adapted to go in your letter.

This letter is pulling in hundreds of new customers.

I have many more examples on my website if you want to see them.

    Best wishes
