The problem with online is just having a website does not guarantee traffic. With a limited budget you have to maximize every opportunity. A good place to start is on Facebook. If you are on Facebook, start by building a business page for your company. Ask all of your friends to like your page. Once you get to 25 likes register the url with your business name so it will be some thing like: www.facebook.com/yourbusinessname.

Once you have your page set up and you have your likes, spend some of your budget on Facebook Advertising. It is very cost effective and it will bring a tremendous amount of traffic to your page. About 200 million Americans use facebook every day, so it is an excellent place to find new customers.

Use your page as a place to discuss popular destinations and use it to offer discounts to your Facebook "friends". Encourage them to participate and to recommend your page to their friends.

Facebook is like Google adwords were a few years ago before every company began to use it and the cost per click went way up. Facebook advertising is underrated and is an excellent value at this time.

    I hope this helps,

I wanted to add that you can use your Facebook page to drive traffic to your main website as well.

Are they only web based? I didn't see that as the original posters criteria. Poster please clarify-- cause my answer would be totally different if you are web based or have a local biz. Or at least give more info.

The key is to have an marketing agent in other countries who has access to people who need her service.

A local presence lends a measure of credibility. For example, I looked at YOUR website and and the only contact information is located in Vietnam. That's fine, but you then have to depend on the DMC to recommend your service. On the other hand, if you had a sales office in the UK, you'd have a better chance of getting business from the UK because of a local contact.

There are far to many unreputable companies in the travel industry.

Problem with the low budget marketing plan is that you can not reach each and every customer directly through conventional advertisement. As Digital world is the way to market almost every thing now a days. I would like to suggest you to have more and more online presence. Facebook alone can not help you. it may help you in making people aware what you provide. it will take good amount of time in converting them in to your customers and having your friends like your page only will not help. Your friends anyways will come to know about your service and they do not require facebook to buy your services. The point here is the one who does not know about you, you need to catch them and explain them what you can provide.

try connect with the people who largely travel to your country and then plan a good SEO strategy around them.

Writing blogs with a reference to your website, posting links in various forums and ofcouce social media is a must. But in social media, you need to attract the potential customers.

To kick off this, you can build a group which will attract more and more people who travel. Try bond people by providing more and more travel related information about your local destination. this will attract not just more traffic but google search engines as well. thus you will be getting popularity among the search users who are planning for a tour to your city.

I run a Photography club called www.photographyforcause.com . we keep on organizing some events which make people aware about our initiative. we arrange lot of online discussion which engages people in the photography fertinity. You can try some thing similar which will help engaging people with your "BRAND".

    Hope this will help
