    Ultimately, the company who hosts the program. There are some "power affiliates" whose whole business is built around promoting someone else's for a commission. I know of a few people who do this with dating and travel websites and make 6 figures a year by doing nothing but keeping a few websites up and running.

    In short. you have to REALLY get devoted as an affiliate in order to make any real money.
