Know-How Exchange : Website Critique

This might sound silly to you, but not everyone in the world knows where Cyprus is. A world map highlighting your country might help clarify.

If I'm going to visit Cyprus for the first time, then your site won't gently guide me through the process. You assume I know the difference between the various resort areas. I'd like to read about others experiences at the various hotels/resorts. Do you have traveler comments that can be posted/have been posted to help me better understand the traveller's experience?

What's the benefit to me to book through your website instead of booking through the resort's website?

Andreas, I agree with Jay. Why you?

Why should I use your site rather than travelocity or expedia? Do you offer local knowledge? Insider tips? More luxury?

Also, as someone in the US, I'm not going to call internationally to get information (I don't know what long distance charges are in Europe, but you might want to add a toll-free number).

Who or what is TUI travel? I'm guessing they're some sort of travel authority? Rating and standards group? Promoting something I don't know doesn't add confidence.

Get a native speaker to go over the site. You've got lots of random acts of capitalization (as a writer, these drive me nuts).

Tell me more about the islands and the area, and why I'd want to visit.

There's too much on the front page, and it doesn't seem to be organized in any particular way. Too much going on, and I don't know where to look first.

Maybe have flights in one column, hotels in another, packages in a third?

Perhaps a spokesperson in your HomePage intro ... suggesting things the others have pointed out to you...not a gnome but not a model either if you aime is to gain trust and/or escort folks around the Island..

Greek or Turk?

Many don't know your mixed history and the many suprise benfits that one island can offer. I hear Sting Holidays there not a bad testimonial since he can holiday anywhere!
