Paul is an online marketing consultant, popular speaker and author of The Digital Handshake: Seven Proven Strategies to Grow Your Business Using Social Media, published by Wiley. Most recently, he served as Internet marketing director for Bizzuka, a web design, content management and Internet marketing company based in his hometown of Lafayette, LA. Prior to that Paul was co-founder of Blogging Systems, a blog software company that significantly impacted the real estate industry by encouraging Realtors to adopt blogging as a marketing strategy. He is the co-author of Realty Blogging: Build your Brand and Outsmart Your Competition, which similarly impacted the industry and which was the first blogging book to target a specific industry vertical. Paul sits on the board of advisors for the Women's Wisdom Network, the Social Media Marketing Institute, Modern Media Man and SmartBrief on Social Media. He is a feature writer for Practical Ecommerce magazine on the use of social media for marketing and blogs for the MarketingProfs Daily Fix blog, Social Media Today and MyVenturePad.com. Paul was technical editor and contributing writer on Buzz Marketing with Blogs For Dummies, the very first book to address blogging from a purely business perspective.
