Since 2005, he has advised marketers and business executives on strategies to optimize their use of social media and online channels to reach buyers cost-effectively. His award-winning 2007 book, The New Influencers, chronicles the changes in markets being driven by the new breed of bloggers and podcasters. His second book, Secrets of Social Media Marketing, has also earned wide critical acclaim. His latest book, Social Marketing to the Business Customer looks at business-to-business social marketing. Paul is a Senior Research Fellow at the Society for New Communications Research and he co-chairs the social media cluster for the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council.

At Silverpop, a BtoB marketing automation software provider, she achieved growth more than 50% CAGR. Team recognitions include BMA Ace, SIIA CODiE and IABC Golden Flame awards.
