My career has been divided into three stages:
(1) Knowledge acquisition (1987 - 1996): gained a comprehensive understanding of product development, sales, marketing, and operations in small ($15MM), medium ($400MM), and Fortune 500 ($5B) technology companies.
(2) Knowledge application (1997 - 2010): launched and grew an international demand marketing firm to $20 million in revenues by helping global Fortune 500 brands increase sales. Industry segment focus included technology (software, hardware, semiconductors, mobile/wireless) plus financial services (banking, credit cards) and assorted consumer goods. I also built a software VAR that provided Mid/Enterprise software sales & license management for PC OEMs.
(3) Knowledge integration (2010 - present): leveraging my combined entrepreneurial and corporate experience to help SMB companies become Challenger brands and help their ad agencies transform themselves from production vendors to strategic advisors.
I help CEOs and CMOs transform their business for growth:
> Start-ups needing a part-time CMO who can execute
Incumbent CMO's seeking peer perspective and hands-on skills
>VC's needing a fractional CMO for their portfolio companies
>Agencies needing a strategic advisor for their top clients
