- Can I change my password or my email address?
- Sure! You can change your membership info by going to the My Account page.
If our system won't let you change your email address, it's probably because you've already signed up with that one, too. Just drop us a note and we'll give you a hand. support@marketingprofs.comBACK TO TOP
- I need to add people to my Corporate account.
- Getting to the Corporate Admin page
Visit the My Account page, click the Change Membership tab, then click the "Add or Edit Current Seats" link. Or use this shortcut.
Adding your colleagues
The Corporate Admin page will show you how many seats you have available. The current list of people will appear near the bottom of the page. Of course, that section will be empty until you've set up your colleagues.
Each time you add someone, our system will email them their temporary passwords and log-in instructions. (Anyone who's already in our Basic member list will keep their current password, though.)BACK TO TOP
- I upgraded my membership to Premium. How come I still can't see the full Premium articles?
- Were you logged in when you tried to read a Premium article? If you don’t have the “Remember Me” feature switched on, you may need to login to tell the site who you are before you get access to the Premium article.
If you DO have the “Remember Me” feature switched on, it could be that you've got some kind of security setting in your browser that's blocking cookies. (Our site uses web cookies to keep you logged in.) If your company firewall is like Fort Knox, that might be blocking cookies, too. In that case, track down an IT guy and beg him to help you out.BACK TO TOP
- Why can't I access the seminar recordings?
- Do you have the right membership level to access seminars? Take a look at the levels described in the FAQs below.
Are you a Premium Plus member and you're sure you're logged in? If not, try the approach described in the previous FAQ above.
Did you pay to attend only one of the seminars? Go to the Seminar Login page and sign in with your email address. Then you should be able to access the materials for THAT seminar.BACK TO TOP
- The links aren't working in the newsletter!
- This is a bit of a mystery. A few members have told us about this problem, and it seems to be related to pop-up blockers or other security applications installed on your PC.
You (or your IT guy, if you have one) should add these two domains in your list of Safe or Approved websites:
» marketingprofs.chtah.com (no www)
"What's that second one for?" It helps us track the popularity of articles. Good marketers do that sort of thing.BACK TO TOP
- How come I'm not getting mail from you anymore?
- If you stopped getting the weekly newsletter or other messages from us, you can probably blame a security filter. Put these domains on your Safe or Trusted senders list:
marketingprofs.com
marketingprofs.chtah.com
b.marketingprofs.chtah.com
You might need to ask your IT guys or your email host to do this on your email server, too.BACK TO TOP

- Can I cancel my membership?
- Not without breaking our hearts, but... yes, you can cancel.
If you're a Basic (free) member, just go to the Manage MP Mail tab on the My Account page. Look for the "Opt Out" button down south.
If you signed up for a short-term free trial and you want to cancel before the billing deadline, go here and enter your email address.
If you signed up for the Premium membership on a monthly payment plan, just visit the Contact us page and request a cancellation. Your credit card won't be billed any further, and your membership level will be downgraded to plain old Basic.
If you signed up for the regular Premium or Premium Plus membership, you can get a full refund if you're not satisfied within the first 30 days of joining. Contact us and we'll handle it.BACK TO TOP
- When will my membership be up for renewal?
- All annual memberships last a full 12 months, beginning from the date you pay your annual fee. You will be notified one month before your expiration date that your subscription is up for renewal.
If you signed up for the Premium membership's monthly payment option, you don't have to renew. However, you can downgrade your membership level to Basic and stop your monthly billing at any time by going to the Contact Us page and making that request.
You can check your membership status, payment history and renewal date on the My Account page.BACK TO TOP
